The Hellenic Historical Society organizes since 1979 the annual Panhellenic Historical Congress and Round Table, and invites prominent scientists from Greece and abroad to participate in the proceedings.

Since 1983 the Hellenic Historical Society has published the Congress proceedings every year.

Since 1981 the Hellenic Historical Society also publishes the journal BYZANTIAKA, which includes, among others, byzantine-related papers from the Panhellenic Historical Congresses.
